You have to go see this event!!! Especially if you are an Exercise Friend and want to see why it is so important to have and be a good member!!! Paul Leury a 42 year old long time Exercise Friend Member and Chief Technologist at his software company proves to all of us , anyone can do it if we want it bad enough!!!! His job requires he sit in a seat in front of a computer all day! Sound familiar? Paul proves what we can do if we "want" to. He did it with the help of an Exercise Friend and contributes his success to fun a the gym with his exercise friend and personal trainer David Richardson (A personal trainer at Anytime Fitness) , and his wife (School Teacher) who supported him by working out with him , she looks great too!!!

Thanks for the encouragement Patrick. I need all the encouragement I can get. It's been a dream of mine since , believe it or not , the age of 7 years old when I filled out the Charles Atlas "get more muscles" ad in the back of a comic book. You know the one where the guy is kicking sand in the skinny guy's face. Unfortunately I procrastinated for 35 years but hey , it's the now that counts and finding the right exercise friend made all the difference in the world. There's no doubt that I could not have done it without my training partner and friend. Wish me luck guys , and come see the contest , it's a great show.

Good luck Paul , way to go. I was a late bloomer also , not into body building , but weight lifting and loving it. I also have an exercise friend who is very committed and he is doing a contest at a gym to win $10 ,000. Best of luck to you.
